Rob Beckett, 35, is a standup comedian and presenter known for his work on Mock the Week and 8 Out of 10 Cats.
He’s a a familiar face on our screens, and has developed a name for himself as one of the best comedians of his generation.
Although Rob has a significant fan base, he has kept some details relating to his private life away from public view.
Rob was born in Mottingham in southeast London and grew up alongside his four brothers.
The comedian attended Coppers School in Chislehurst, where he was educated alongside a couple of other famous faces.
Friend and fellow comic Tom Allen also attended Coppers School.
Speaking on 8 Out of 10 Cats, Tom joked: “I went to school with Rob Beckett. He was in a different class to me – socially.”
Rob went on to say: “[Tom] was a couple of years older […] we didn’t really hang about.”
Another fact about Rob’s school life was that a well known soap star also attended his southeast London secondary school.
Charlie Clements from BBC soap Eastenders was also a schoolmate of Rob’s.
Charlie later went on to Bradley Branning in the award winning soap for four years between 2006 and 2010.
Today, Rob lives a happy family life with wife Louise, who he married in 2015, and their two daughters.

Rob even hosts his own podcast, Lockdown Parenting Hell, alongside comedian Josh Widdicombe.
In the podcast, the pair discuss the trials and triumphs of modern parenting.
“I think the podcast gives us a good excuse to not look after them.
“That was the main reason we did it, really, wasn’t it? So that we can have a justifiable break from parenting,” Rob told The Guardian earlier this year.
Head Hunters with Rob Beckett will be on BBC One today at 1pm.
