The first picture of a 37-year-old woman murdered in Primrose Hill has been released today after a man, 40, was charged with her killing.
The victim has been named as Nicole Hurley and Jason Bell has been charged with her murder.
Officers were called to Broxwood Way in Primrose Hill just before 1am on Sunday (October 10) after receiving reports of a disturbance.
Ms Hurley was found with stab wounds and was later pronounced dead at the scene, despite the efforts of paramedics.
Bell, of Broxwood Way, was arrested later on the same day and charged yesterday (October 11) with the murder of Ms Hurley.
He was also charged with false imprisonment in relation to a third party, driving a motor vehicle dangerously on October 10 and driving while disqualified and without insurance.
Jason was remanded in custody and is due to appear at Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court today (October 12).
A Metropolitan Police statement released this morning states: “A 40-year-old man has been charged with the murder of a woman in Primrose Hill.
“Police were called to Broxwood Way, Primrose Hill shortly before 01:00hrs on Sunday, 10 October following reports of a disturbance.
“A woman was found with stab wounds. Despite the best efforts of paramedics, she was pronounced dead at the scene.
“She has since been named as 37-year-old Nicole Hurley. Her family are being supported by specialist officers.”
