It feels like it was just yesterday when the kids were breaking up for their summer holidays.
Now in our first week of September, the students are heading back to the classrooms for a new school year.
As parents prepare for the school run, many will be taking photos of their children’s first day of school, feeling a mixture of pride and joy (and maybe a little bit of relief).
It’s the perfect time to dig out an old school photo of yourselve and reminisce about your own childhood.
That’s exactly what Holly Willoughby did when she posted an adorable throwback picture of her and her sister.
Holly can be seen smiling to the camera with her uniform as her older sister Kelly, who’s also in school uniform, wraps an arm around her.
Sporting matching hairstyles, the 2019 Instagram caption read: “Me and my sis @ladywilloughby off to school many many moons ago… and now It’s a new school year… perhaps there’s a new school to discover and new friends to make.
“Whatever challenges you are faced with this September… attack them with all the self-belief, hard graft and determination you can muster… you’ve got this guys!”
Unable to tell which one was Holly, one user wrote: “Hi, are you the one on left or right?”
Another wrote: “You look so cute and sister.”
However some people knew straight away who it was and said: “Can tell it’s you x”.
Another added: “Beautiful sisters pic .. you really haven’t changed.”

“I’ve been riddled with guilt about getting that part wrong. You love them so much and you don’t want to mess them up. The truth is, I didn’t do the drop-off on Harry’s or Belle’s first day of school because I was working.
“I hate that I wasn’t there because those are memories you can’t get back. But I’ve realised the only way that I can combat those feelings is to accept that sometimes I don’t get it right – and that’s fine.”
