ITV Good Morning Britain’s Richard Madeley reveals huge row with wife Judy

Good Morning Britain presenter Richard Madeley has revealed the huge row that he had with his wife Judy Finnigan while on holiday.

The couple, famous for their book club, have spent the past few weeks unwinding, or at least trying to, in France.

But the holiday spirits were dampened after Judy went berserk at Richard for making a serious blunder.

While hosting Good Morning Britain on Monday (September 13), co-host Susanna Reid asked him if he’d enjoyed his summer holiday.

“It didn’t get off to the best of starts,” Richard, 65, admitted.

“Well basically, Judy and I drove to France, and I was responsible for packing the car. I drive the car, so I pack the car.

“And that meant being responsible for packing my wife’s clothes, and Judy said to me the morning that we left, ‘now there are two lots of clothes on hangers in the spare room, you pack them both’.

“We get to France and Judy says, ‘where’s that jacket I wanted to change into? Where’s that skirt?’ I’d left half of her clothes, can you imagine?

“I think I would have been in less trouble if I’d had an affair!” he added, as Susanna looked gobsmacked.

“But anyway, thank God for Fedex,” he continued, revealing that his two children had packed up the clothes and sent them via courier.

“She basically didn’t speak to me for the first two days!” Richard then admitted as Susanna was unable to contain her laughter.

He then asked mum-of-three Susanna about her summer, but she was less descriptive about hers.

“It was very nice, I managed to remember all of my clothes!” she simply said.
