We can all remember Little Mo for being quite the explosive character back when she was on the beloved soap drama that us Brits love dearly.
Kacey Ainsworth played Little Mo in EastEnders who first appeared on our screens in 2000 up until her exit in 2006.
During her time on the Square, we saw a timid Little Mo have dreadful things happened to her including her disastrous and abusive marriage to Trevor Morgan, a then fleeting marriage with loner Billy Mitchell, being raped, and a shock pregnancy.
The talented actress clearly didn’t have it easy on the soap but that’s the reason many love her character – she really did bring Little Mo to life.
Which is also why it comes as no surprise her talent was recognised was she had won numerous awards for her role in the past including the British Soap Award for Best Actress for 2002-2003.
Since moving on from EastEnders, Kacey has had a recurring role as Cathy Keating in ITV period drama Grantchester with season 6 of the detective drama airing tonight.
The star, 52, has also had a massive transformation since then too.
She now sports a very glamorous short blonde hair do which is the complete opposite to the look she rocked back when she played her onscreen persona.
Kacey often receives tons of compliments from fans on her pictures that shows off her blonde bob with many taking the time to tell her she ‘looks amazing’ and ‘beautiful’.
It is also quite clear that she has a very different and cosy family life to the one she portrayed whilst being a part of the Slaters.
She lives with her partner Darren Hales and their two children in rural Hertfordshire and her two adorable children.
Kacey has been open in the past about being a mum to her son Elwood who has autism and what their everyday lives consists of.
She opened up to The Mirror about her son’s diagnosis in 2019, saying: “Everything is negotiated and explained in advance.
“When he was younger we would show him pictures of a restaurant and even discuss what time we were going to leave.”
Their daughter Blossom is aged 16 is a great help to the family as Kacey has said she shows great “patience and understanding” when it comes to taking care of her younger brother.
