A crash between a lorry and a crane has caused severe delays and nine-mile queues to build up on the M25 this morning.
The crash happened on the clockwise carriageway after J1A for the A206 at Dartford shortly before 7am.
Cameras show that the vehicles involved have been recovered and the lane closures removed, but delays remain.
Drivers are facing delays of around an hour and a half on the M25.
Traffic has built up for nine miles towards J29 at Romford and Basildon.
Congestion also remains before J29 and Tilbury / Baker Street Interchange on the A13 Westbound approach.
Three lanes were initially closed, but all lanes have now re-opened, but there are still long delays.
