Missing City worker, 48, has not been seen for 24 hours after checking into London hotel



A missing City worker, 48, has not been seen for 24 hours after checking into a London hotel.

A twitter post from Essex Police says that Matthew Haywood left his home in Tilbury for work in the City of London on Tuesday morning (September 7).

That evening he checked into a hotel in the Middlesex St area.

The last time has was seen was yesterday morning (September 8).

Essex Police has had the post retweeted by a number of London police departments including Tower Hamlets and Camden.

Anyone who has information about the whereabouts of Matthew, should get in touch with police either on 101 or 999 in the case of an emergency.

There are a number of agencies specifically trained to deal with cases like this including Missing Persons Unit, Missing People, Missing Kids UK and Look For Them.
