Bela studied Broadcast Journalism at the London College of Communication in 2011. She graduated with a LLB (Hons) Law degree and trained as a solicitor in the ITV legal department, working as a media lawyer for both the Discovery Channel and ITV.

She has presented various programmes on TV and radio including Channel 5 News, breakfast and Newsbeat programme and bulletins on BBC Radio 1.

Bela has also presented Sport Today on BBC World Service, news and sport programmes on BBC Asian Network, news on LBC and co-presented on talkSPORT.

Charlie Thomas is a sports presenter for Sky News

He has broadcast live from a variety of events, including the London Olympics in 2012, as well as the Ashes series of 2005, 2009 and 2013.

Prior to that, he was a Sky Sports cricket reporter, covering the domestic game, the World Cup in 1999, alongside England’s series at home and abroad,including Australia (94/5), South Africa (95), Zimbabwe (96) and two in the West Indies (94 and 98).

He was also among the first football reporters for Sky Sports in 1992, covering the first two seasons of the Premier League.

Before joining Sky he was sports reporter for Capital Radio and IRN, and tennis and rugby union commentator for Screensport, including the 1991 rugby union World Cup.

He began his career as a journalist on the Hounslow Informer in 1985.

Charlotte Coleman – Sky Sports news presenters profiles

Charlotte Louise Coleman (nee Jackson) – born 29 June 1978 – is a presenter on Sky Sports News.

In 2004 Charlotte wrote and presented sports news for a variety of sports websites, including sportal.com, TEAMtalk, Football365 and Golf365 among other sports-related websites—where she wrote and presented sports bulletins. Charlotte also presented the coverage of the National Hunt Festival for the official Cheltenham website in 2006.

She joined Setanta Sports News in 2007, co-hosting Lunchtime Live alongside Murray Dron, and presented various live events, including BetFred League of Legends darts tournament. She presented the Beijing Bulletin for Al Jazeera +3 Sport’s coverage of the 2008 Summer Olympics, with Rhodri Williams.

After the channel ceased broadcasting in June 2009, she joined Sky Sports in August 2009, presenting on Sky Sports News.

Charlotte presented Sky Sports Football quiz show Take it Like a Fan with John Fendley. The show was based on going to different British football league grounds and asking quiz questions.

In 2013, she was a contestant in ITV’s celebrity diving show Splash!, where she reached the semi-finals, despite breaking a toe.

Clare Tomlinson – Sky Sports news presenters profiles

 

Clare Tomlinson successfully made the move from the studio to the touchline as a reporter on Sky’s Premiership and international football coverage in the summer of 2000.

Her new role followed three seasons of fronting a variety of programming on Sky Sports.

Clare joined Sky Sports in 1998 as one of the original presenters on the new digital channel Sky Sports News. She then presented the daily sports news programme Sky Sports Centre, Premiership round-up Goals on Sunday and a variety of live football including the Women’s FA Cup Final and live internationals.

Clare made her touchline debut at the Amsterdam Tournament during the 2000-2001 pre-season and has since worked on over 150 Premiership, FA Cup and England matches live on Sky Sports.

Before joining Sky Clare spent six years working on the other side of the camera in media relations dealing with some of the biggest football stories of the 1990’s.

While working at the Football Association as a Media Officer, she experienced some of football’s most controversial incidents including Paul Merson’s confessions to gambling, drink and drug addictions and the controversy surrounding George Graham’s departure from Highbury.

Clare also dealt with the press following the riots in Dublin in February 1995 and experienced the euphoria of Euro ’96 while based at Burnham Beaches with the England squad.

Clare joined Sky Sports from Arsenal where she spent two years setting up and heading the club’s Communications Department.

Ed Draper – born June 1981 in Hackney, London – is a presenter on Sky Sports News.

He is best known for presenting the sports bulletins on the Absolute Radio (formerly Virgin Radio) Breakfast Show, as well as the station’s Rock ‘N’ Roll Sport Podcast, on which he works with Russ Williams.

Ed formerly presented sports news for BBC Radio London, as well as providing sports commentary for MUTV and EuroSport.

Emma Paton is a presenter on Sky Sports News and Sky News

She joined Sky in 2012, first as a sports journalist, then as a sub-editor, where she would work as part of a production team to build and script content for the 24-hour rolling news channel.

This included cutting and editing interviews and picture, scripting stories, creating story treatments – with use of the newsroom’s video wall, as well as producing rolling edits of live sport.

Since August 2016, Emma has presented across both digital platforms and broadcast television, interviewing guests on some of Sky Sports News’ busiest days such as Transfer Deadline Day.
