EastEnders ‘ latest Strictly Come Dancing star Rose Ayling-Ellis has reassured fans after her dance partner Giovanni Pernice revealed the two had come up against an issue in training.
Since they started competing in the show this year, the pair have been showered with praise for their performances.
They have won fans over with humour since being told by judges they need to do more, making light of the demand on social media.
But things took a much more serious turn this week as Giovanni revealed Rose’s hearing aids had broken on Wednesday.
Rose, who plays Frankie Ellis on Albert Square, is the first deaf contestant in Strictly history and relies on her hearing aids.

The Italian dancer made a plea to the NHS following the unfortunate issue, speaking on his Instagram story whilst stood alongside Rose in their practice studio.
He said: “Morning people, we have some news for you today…”
He then turned to Rose asked her to explain what happened, she continued: “This morning, my hearing aid broke but I think it’s because I sweat so much.
“It broke so I can’t hear anything at all.”
Giovanni interjected: “So NHS, please be quick!”
Before Rose quipped back: “It’s quite nice, I don’t have to hear his voice,” to which Gio humorously repeated his message: “NHS be quick!”
On her own Instagram story, Rose added: “Nobody needs to panic, it is a very normal life for deaf people.”
As the show’s first deaf contestant, Rose is breaking down barriers for other aspiring deaf dancers or actors.
