From dating rumours to divorce, who doesn’t love a celebrity couple?
And this one you may not have known about, involving the actor of the most iconic and well-loved characters in Harry Potter.
Gary Oldman, who played the notorious Sirus Black in the film series, was once married to a very famous movie star.
British actor Gary played Sirius in the film adaptations of Prisoner of Azkaban, Goblet of Fire, Order of the Phoenix and Deathly Hallows: Part 2.
He has had a long acting career, and also appeared in The Dark Knight Rises, A Christmas Carol, and even an episode of Friends in 2001.
Uma Thurman, who played the lead in Hollywood blockbusters Kill Bill and Pulp Fiction, was married to the Harry Potter actor for two years.
Over the years there have been many whispers circulating of how the two met, but it seems most likely that they began dating while shooting for State of Grace in 1989 – the same year that Gary divorced his previous wife Lesley Maville.
Gary and Uma got married in 1990, and divorced just two years later.
Their marriage was plagued with drama, and Uma has since publicly referred to it as a “mistake”.

“We met when I was 18. He was 12 years older. It was a crazy love affair that ended, as it needed to.
“He was my first love. I had no prior experience.”
But the seemingly messy divorce didn’t slow Gary down, and the film star has gone on to have five marriages in total – his time with Uma being the shortest.
